MoveScan AI ("MoveScan," "we," "us") provides cloud-backed moving survey software for professional surveyors and moving companies. This policy describes how we collect, use, and delete personal data when you use our iOS app and web services.
Data collected
We collect account information (name, email, account identifier), client contact details you enter for a move (name, email, phone), origin and destination addresses, survey and inventory content you create, photos and video frames captured during surveys, and device metadata (app version, device identifier) needed to operate MoveScan. Voice commands and speech feedback are processed on your device and are not uploaded for recognition.
How AI works
Images are sent to MoveScan cloud APIs and processed with OpenAI for room and inventory analysis. Customer data is not used to train public models under OpenAI API terms.
Meta AI glasses
If you connect Meta AI glasses, registration and camera streaming use Meta's Wearables Device Access Toolkit and the Meta AI app on your phone. Meta may process data according to its own policies during device pairing and streaming. MoveScan receives media you choose to capture or analyze through the app.
Storage
Survey data is stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure (US region). Retention follows your subscription status and deletion requests.
Face blur
Thumbnails are face-blurred on device before upload where the feature is enabled.
CRM integrations
When you connect a CRM in the surveyor portal and push a survey, MoveScan sends the survey export (including client contact details, addresses, and inventory) to that CRM provider (for example PackLogic, HubSpot, or Salesforce) using the integration you configure.
Subprocessors
OpenAI (AI analysis), AWS (media and document storage), Stripe (subscription billing), Vercel (marketing site hosting), and Meta (optional glasses registration and streaming) may process data as subprocessors supporting the service. CRM providers you connect may also receive survey data when you initiate a push.
Your rights
You may request access, export, or deletion of your account and associated cloud data. In the MoveScan iOS app, go to Settings → Connect → Delete Account. You can also email [email protected] or use the surveyor portal at app.movescanai.com.
